Privacy policy

1. Introduction

RCSC ("we", "our" or "us") operates the Nexera-AI mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the App.

2. Information we collect

Account information

• Username and email address, for signing in
• Extension number, for voice calling

Device information

• Device identifier, for push notifications
• Device name and model
• App version

Call data

• Call logs (caller, recipient, duration, time)
• Call recordings, if your organisation has turned recording on

Permissions we ask for

• Microphone: needed for voice calls. Audio goes directly to the person you are speaking to and is not stored by the App unless your organisation has turned call recording on.
• Contacts: optional. Used to show caller names from your own contacts. Contact data is not uploaded to our servers.
• Notifications: needed to alert you to incoming calls when the App is not open.

3. How we use your information

• To provide voice calling
• To show incoming call notifications
• To show your call history
• To sign you in to your organisation's phone system

4. Storage and security

• Sign-in tokens are stored securely in the device's protected storage
• Call history is cached on your device
• All network connections are encrypted
• We do not sell your personal information

5. How long we keep it

• Call logs are kept according to your organisation's policies
• Data cached on your device is cleared when you sign out of the App
• To delete your account, ask your organisation's administrator

6. Other services

The App connects to your organisation's phone system to make and receive calls. Your organisation's own privacy policy also applies to data processed by its systems.

7. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.

9. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. To do so, contact your organisation's administrator or email privacy@rcsc.uk.
